The mission of the Development Authority of Snellville is to aggressively develop a community to attract and retain businesses and merchants.
Vision
The vision of the Development Authority of Snellville is an active community that encourages a Lifelong Community framework.
Lifelong Communities are places where individuals can live throughout their lifetimes; they provide a full range of options to residents, insuring a high quality of life for all.
Lifelong Communities work to achieve three major goals:
- Promoting Housing and Transportation Options
- Encouraging Healthy Lifestyles
- Expanding Information and Access to Services
Interested in becoming a volunteer member? An Application for Board Appointment has been developed to identify and qualify eligible Snellville citizens who wish to volunteer their time and service to the City of Snellville and the Mayor and Council. The term of a director is four (4) years. Please mail your completed application to:

Statutory Requirements for DA
The Development Authority of Snellville, Georgia was activated by a resolution of Mayor and Council on February 14, 1983 and re-instated on March 14, 2016.
